Q Are Katahdin Trust Company deposit accounts FDIC insured?
A Yes! Each individual customer at Katahdin Trust Company is insured by the FDIC up to $100,000. And, if you have more than $100,000 on deposit, your funds still could be fully protected. That's because, under the insurance rules, money held in different types of ownership accounts (joint accounts, retirement accounts, etc.) is separately insured up to $100,000 by the FDIC. Q How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check?
A Upon approval of your Katahdin Trust Company checking application, you will receive Katahdin Trust Company's routing and transit number and your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to the human resources or payroll department at your company, and your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days.

Q How do I set up Direct Deposit of my Social Security check?
A Upon approval of your Katahdin Trust Company checking application, you will receive Katahdin Trust Company's routing and transit number and your account number.
