Business Mobile Banking App with Mobile Check Deposit

Business doesn't stop just because you're way from the office, and some of those important financial decisions can't really wait until you get back. Neither can important deposits. That's why our Business Mobile Banking App with Mobile Check Deposit can be such a crucial tool for you and your company. 

Mobile Check Deposit for Business is available upon request. Once you've downloaded the KTC Business Mobile Banking App, contact our local Electronic Banking Department located at the Houlton Operations Center at (207) 521-3221 or Toll-Free at 1-855-331-3221 Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and we'll help you get started. 

Deposit Instructions

Mobile Check Deposit for Business is secure, easy to use, and convenient.

  • Log In to your KTC Business Mobile Banking App using your online banking credentials
  • Select Deposit from the Menu
  • Select New Deposit
  • Select the Account to receive the deposit
  • Enter the Amount (ensure it matches the amount written on your check) and select Done
  • Endorse the back of the check with your signature and write “For Mobile Deposit Only”
  • Select Capture Front Image and take a photo of the front of your check, select Use
  • Select Capture Back Image and take a photo of the back of your endorsed check, select Use
  • Select Deposit
  • You will receive a confirmation on your phone that your deposit is being processed
  • Write on the front of the check “Mobile Deposit on DATE” (where date is the full date you deposited the check by Mobile Deposit)
  • Securely store your check for 5 days after funds are posted to your account, and destroy after 14 days

Check Image Tips

  • Take photo against a background with a strong contrast between the check and the surrounding area
  • Position the camera above the check so there is no angle
  • Move any objects that show up in the picture away from the check
  • Make sure the check is visible, contains all four corners, is well lit and in focus
  • The check must contain a readable; check number, payee name and endorsement
  • The check must contain a readable MICR line at the bottom of the check
  • The check must contain a readable character (numeric) amount of the check and legal amount of the check
  • The check must be drawn on an institution located within the United States
  • Some business size checks or longer checks do not work with Mobile Check Deposit

Deposit Limits

$15,000 daily deposit limit per business.

Funds Availability

For deposits received and accepted before 4:30 pm on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. Funds from your deposit generally will be available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. Please see our Funds Availability Policy for additional details.
