We offer three convenient mobile options including Text Banking, Mobile Browser Banking, and a downloadable Mobile App with Mobile Check Deposit.

You can choose any (or all) of our convenient mobile options so you can bank the way that’s best for you and your mobile device:

On the run and don't have time to sit down at your computer to find out your balance? Once enrolled just text BAL to 995-88 and we'll text you back your balance. You don’t need Internet access on your phone to take advantage of Text Banking.

If your phone is capable of sending and receiving SMS text messages, you can utilize Text Banking. After enrolling through Katahdin Trust Company’s Online Banking (My Profile tab), you’ll receive a text message with an activation code from our short code, 99588. Save this code to your contacts. From that point on, you can simply text a command to 99588 to receive the following information:

  • Check all account balances (Text BAL)
  • Review recent transactions (Text HIST plus the texting nickname for the account, ie HIST ckg1)
    • Additional transactions (Text NEXT)
  • Find an ATM (Text ATM plus the ZIP Code or City, State ie. ATM Patten, ME)
  • Find a Branch (Text BRANCH plus the ZIP Code or City, State)
  • Find ATMs and Branches (Text BOTH plus the ZIP Code or City, State)
  • Find a list of Mobile Banking keywords (Text HELP)
  • For Help (Text HELP)
  • To cancel/deactivate service (Text STOP)
Keywords are not case sensitive.

You can also set up text alerts on selected banking transactions such as, "Text me when my balance is below $100", through eAlerts within Online Banking.

You must be enrolled in Katahdin Trust Company's Personal Online Banking to use Text Banking. Katahdin Trust Company will NEVER ask for confidential banking information via email or text message and you should never respond to any messages requesting that type of information. Our service is free, but message and data rates may apply.

Optimized for mobile use, Online Banking is accessible from the convenience of any web-enabled mobile device. Simply bookmark the link provided in an e-mail/text after you’ve enrolled though Online Banking (My Profile tab) and utilize the same log in procedures as Online Banking. Save this link to your bookmarks for future use.

The Mobile Browser option gives you access to the following information:

  • Check account balances
  • View transaction history
  • Transfer money
  • Pay bills (to existing payees)
  • Find branch and ATM locations
You must be enrolled in Katahdin Trust Company's Personal Online Banking to use Mobile Banking. Transfer accounts and Pay To accounts in Bill Pay must be set up in Online Banking before making payments or transfers using Mobile Banking. Our service is free but message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

If you have an iPhone® or Android smartphone, you can go directly to the App store to download and enroll in Mobile Banking. Search for Katahdin Trust Company, then follow the on-screen prompts to get started. Or login to Online Banking, click My Profile and select Mobile Banking to enroll. Once enrolled, you’ll receive a text message with a direct link to download the app to your mobile phone. Simply follow the on-screen prompts to complete the download. Login to your account (using the same information as Online Banking) each time you want to access your account information through the Mobile App.

Security Tip: Have a passcode on your device and set it to auto-lock after a certain period of time.

Free eAlerts are a fast and convenient way to keep you up-to-date on your account activity. They notify you when selected transactions have taken place by sending an e-mail to your registered e-mail account, a text message to your mobile device, or a secure message within Online Banking. You designate which type of alert you want to receive based on deposits, withdrawals, balances, transaction amounts and more:

  • Low Balance Alert
  • Deposit Notice Alert
  • Check Alerts
  • Loan Payment Alerts

Simply log in to Online Banking and click on eAlerts to view your detailed alerts and your account activity.

Get Started

Log in to Online Banking and click on My Profile then select Mobile Banking to enroll. Have your mobile phone handy and follow the instructions to select which services you would like to sign up for.
